Come join the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona for the

3rd Annual Salute Our Vets - A Run for Veterans Brain Health Programs on October 14th!


This event will be hosted at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park in Tucson and will feature a 10K and 5K run along with a 1 mile fun walk!

With more than 600,000 veterans in Arizona, there is a growing need to help those in various stages of recovery from PTSD, brain injury, or trauma. Proceeds from the 2023 Salute Our Vets event will go directly to support the Brain Injury Alliance Veteran & Military Emergency Relief Fund - so no Arizona veteran walks alone in t heir time of need.

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Check In and Registration will be available beginning at 7:00am at Brandi Fenton Park.

    • We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day.  Race day prices are $50 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, and $40 for the 1 Mile Run/Walk.

    • All shirts sizes may not be available on race day (please register online before race day to guarantee your shirt size choice).

  • Wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly event.  

  • The course will take you through dedicated running trails (a mix of grass, crushed granite, asphalt, and concrete) of the Loop Trail System.  Please note - this is an open trail system and does not close for our event.  There will be bicycles, othere runners, and possibly event horses along the course.  Please be good stewards of the course and share!!

  • October 13th 3:00PM -  Packet Pick-Up at Fleet Feet Sports Tucson from 3:00 - 6:00pm

  • October 14th 7:00AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens at Brandi Fenton Park

  • October 14th 8:00AM - 10K Begins

  • October 14th 8:15AM - 5K Begins

  • October 14th 8:25AM - 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run Begins

  • October 14th 9:15AM - Awards Ceremony Begins (approx)
